George's Triangle of Philosophy

“Treat everything as if it self-aware. It may not be here, but elsewhere.” Decades ago I mused on the philosophical legs supporting my beliefs. One of those legs, called Respecting Creation, was to treat everything as if it were alive and thinking. That meant everything, not just plants and critters, but cars, computers (really dinosaurs then) and such. The point was not necessarily that animate and inanimate things would benefit from my attention, but that I would. Such an attitude creates a much more playful and fun world. And what did you name your car?

That philosophical leg came to mind recently when reading a National Geographic feature on animal intelligence. It seems that many beast and beasties absorb, process, and express information in a, well, thoughtful way. More than instinct is at play with the birds, the fish, the mammals, and even worm. If there was a thought prior to anything, then some consciousness preceded the worm, the rock, the tree, the slime. Treating everything as if it is self-aware turns out to be good thinking.

The apex of “George’s Triangle of Philosophy” is The Principle: Life is Good. The variations may appear confusing, but at the end of the day there is no alternative. Life is Good. Hold to that and deviate not.

The other leg is Walking in the World: Do not diminish by one iota anything you do or are faced with to any degree. The local eruptions are energized from the other realm. Do Good and Justice as a matter of course, for the flow of Good is constant and effective.

There is a preamble for “George’s Triangle of Philosophy” –

IT is all connected. All that is.
It IS all connected. All that is, IS – here and now reality.
It is ALL connected. Everything that IS, is connected to everything that is.
It is all CONNECTED. There is no separation among all that IS.

On the quantum level it appears as if there is a "fabric" of sorts that connects all that is, everywehere. Quite exciting.

The Power Within

The March 2008 issue of Discover Magazine notes that University of Michigan biophysical chemist Raoul Kopelman has discovered electric fields within ordinary cells. While generally believed that such fields were limited to cell membranes and that virtually all the cell’s volume to be electrically dormant, Kopelman’s mini-voltmeter detected fields of surprising strength. Granted, they’re rat cells, but a cell is a cell is a cell, and contained therein is enormous energy, “…fields as strong as 15 million volts per meter throughout.”

This finding gives support for American mystic Charles Fillmore’s explanation for amazing healing:

“Have faith in the power of your mind to penetrate and release the energy that is pent up in the atoms of your body, and you will be astounded at the response.”

If such powerful energy is literally a part of body chemistry, then its use would affect its overall health and operation. One need only consider how much of our fabulous modern world is based on our understanding and use of this power to imagine how greater a person could be using the tremendous force contained within him/herself.
