Perceptual Time

There's sidereal time - the movement of celestial bodies; there's perceptual time - the span of an event according to pleasant experience or not (you know, those short great movies, and that lecture that took over an hour while only five minutes elapsed); and, well this:

Many folks comment that "Life's too short..." to do this or that or miss out on that or this.  Life is not "too" short; it's too valuable to deny the good things.  As for Lotte, well, it beats that old collection of "naked baby" photos that often torment youngsters...

Spring Break...never ends

Okay, you'll have to indulge this moment of spring fever - the only fever I partake, and I love it!

This old onion refused to stay in the compost bin, so I put it in the herb garden.  It likes it.

Discovery over "The Castle" by cazimiro Cazimiro caught it all with the final flight of Discovery.  Perhaps less than an "end" of an era, this image heralds a renaissance of exploration.  That's a thought we like.
