Sewell’s Axioms for Prevention

Putting together a presentation on Prevention for a December workshop.  Thinking about ending it with Sewell's Axioms:

People are going to do what they are going to do
People choose to do the things they do
People do things to get what they want
What people want is what they perceive as important

And, it also works like this:

You are going to do what you are going to do
You choose to do the things you do
You do things to get what you want
What you want is what you perceive as important

Bottom line - perception.  And that's a very personal thing.
