October's HERO of the Environment

Nature wastes nothing.  Energy cannot be created or destroyed, but only transferred or changed into one form or another, such as turning energy into matter or releasing energy from matter.  This is recycling in the purest sense.  Fortunately, there was a lion among Americans in the latter 19^th century who applied nature’s recycling to free enterprise.

October’s HERO of the Environment is John Pierpont Morgan.

One of Morgan’s finest contributions was known as “Morganization” – the process of taking over troubled businesses, re-organizing them, and returning them to servicing customers.  This proved to be an environmentally efficient process which prevented business carrion from polluting free-enterprise.  It continues to this day.

Nikola Tesla

I've always wondered about the extent of Tesla's work, suspecting that he was far, far more ahead of his (and our) time than we know.  This plea for the release of his seized papers has, I think, an unfairly negative slant regarding J.P. Morgan, but otherwise seems on target.  For certain, the FBI raced to Tesla's hotel suite immediately upon his death and took everything.  Where are his papers?  It's a good question.
